Sometimes the hero never drops out of the sky at the last second to untie the struggling figure tied up on the tracks. The train keeps right on chugging along. And most times it's not as bad as expected.

This is a wonderful drawing! I love its balance of whites and blacks, variety of line, strength, balance, and overall composition, not to mention its expressiveness.
